Honour In Defeat For Forces Women Rugby Stars

The UK Armed Forces women's rugby team has been soundly beaten by Wales in their Remembrance rugby fixture in Cardiff.

They lost 43-5, although with the opposition a well-drilled, full international outfit, there was nothing to be ashamed of, and plenty to build on.

The match, held at the Cardiff Arms Park, is considered by many of the forces players as their biggest of the season.

For some there was added significance, however, as four of the squad were playing against their national side.
