Invictus Games: Team UK vice-captain hopes to spread positive message in Germany

Wacth: Team UK's vice-captain hopes to spread positive message.

A spectacle of an opening ceremony kicked off the 2023 Invictus Games.

Prior to heading out to the games in Düsseldorf, Force News spoke to former RAF nurse, Kelly McVitty, Team UK's vice-captain at this year's games.

She completed three tours of Afghanistan and was selected to compete in The Hague games last year, but after finding out she was pregnant with her son, Jackson, she had to withdraw.

However, she is back for 2023 and will be competing in athletics, swimming and cycling.

In the video above, Forces News were able to catch up with Kelly.
