A beautiful sport: Australian Alpine competitor reacts to Meribel 2024

At Meribel 2024, a change has seen personnel from the Australian Defence Force take part - and they're enjoying their week at the competition.

Captain Cameron Wise of the Australian Army said he was having a lot of fun.

"Skiing is just such a beautiful sport," he explained.

"We don't have much snow in Australia, so it means it's a completely different challenge.

"We don't necessarily grow up on the slopes like most Europeans do or those that are lucky enough to live close to big mountains like this."
