Kay Bryson prepares to realise childhood ambitions at debut Olympics in Paris
Army athlete Kay Bryson will realise a childhood ambition when she makes her Olympic debut for Team GB in the Modern Pentathlon at the Paris games next month.
The reservist soldier, who serves as a Second Lieutenant with 165 Port and Maritime Regiment RLC, heads to France fresh from being crowned European champion and is hoping for a place on the podium in Paris.
She warmed up for the games in perfect style by winning the women's title at the European Modern Pentathlon championships in Hungary.
The current UK Armed Forces Sportswoman of the year has been talking to BFBS Sports reporter Julian Evans about her journey to the 2024 Olympic Games.
