
Army star Kerenza Bryson boosts Olympics momentum by winning European Championships

Army athlete Second Lieutenant Kerenza Bryson has warmed up for the 2024 Paris Olympic Games in perfect style by winning the women's title at the European Modern Pentathlon championships in Hungary.
2Lt Bryson, who is an Army reservist based in Bath, took top spot at the event in Budapest.
After victory in the individual event, 2Lt Bryson joined Alex Bousfield and Emma Whitaker to help Britain to silver in the Women's Team competition.

The young officer with 165 Port and Maritime Regiment RLC will join the Army full time following the Games in Paris, having qualified as a doctor last year.
In the build-up to the event, 2Lt Bryson said it was a dream come true to have been selected.
2Lt Bryson has had an impressive few years, winning a bronze medal at the World Championships last year and being crowned UKAF Sportswoman of the Year at a ceremony in April.
