RAF beat Royal Navy in opening match of Inter Services polo championships

The RAF polo team have kicked off the 2025 Inter Services with an impressive 3-1 win over the Royal Navy at Tedworth Park.
The match was just the first fixture in the three-game series and the winning start puts the RAF in pole position for a championship win.
Triumph in the fixture gives the RAF some revenge after they were beaten 5-3 by the Navy in 2024.

The RAF inched ahead in the first chukka and pushed on to win from there and lift the Duke of York's Cup.
They can complete a double sweep if they beat the Army on 6 July for the Sassoon Cup, with the match being held at Druids Lodge, Salisbury, as part of the Stonehenge Polo Festival.
The Navy will look to bounce back from this defeat when they take on the Army for the Rundle Cup at Tedworth Park on 12 July.
