Royal Navy Rugby Union Team Lose at Home to French for First Time

The Royal Navy rugby union team have suffered a setback in their preparations for the inter-services championships, with a 33-19 defeat against the French Navy in Portsmouth.
 
It's the first time they've lost a home fixture to their French counterparts.
 
They face the RAF next up in the opening game of the inter-services in two weeks time. 
 
There was also disappointment for the Army, who were beaten 47-22 by Bedford Blues in the annual Mobbs' Memorial Match.
