Army stage second-half comeback to beat RAF in exciting Inter Services rugby league tie
The British Army men have beaten the Royal Air Force in the second week of the Inter Services Rugby League at Thatto Heath Crusaders Rugby Club in St Helens, Merseyside.
The men in red mounted an impressive comeback in the second half to give them a 36-20 victory over the RAF.
The Army scored a flurry of tries inside the final 20 minutes with their captain Micky Hoyle converting superbly.
Army star Inoke Nakoronivalu was awarded player of the match.
After losing to the Navy last week in Portsmouth, the Army's win means the title decider will move on to next week where the RAF will take on the defending champions the Royal Navy in Wakefield Trinity.
