Army win under-23s rugby union title on points difference after RAF beat Navy in Basingstoke

WATCH: Highlights from a championship finale as the RAF hosted the Navy.

The British Army U23s have won the 2023 Inter Services on points difference despite a stunning RAF win over the Navy in Basingstoke.

The 19-13 result ruled out any chance of either the RAF or Navy catching the Army's points target meaning the men in red are champions.

A terrific performance from Kieran Prescott and Kieran McDougal saw the RAF impress in victory.

Earlier in the tournament, the Army were beaten by the Navy in Portsmouth before bouncing back with an all-important win over the RAF in Aldershot.

This competition featured a number of players who are looking to break into senior squads for matches at Twickenham Stadium and Kingsholm Stadium in the spring.
