All senior men's and senior women's fixtures in this year's Inter Service Rugby Union Championship will be available to watch on RugbyPass TV for the first time, as well as their usual home on the Forces News YouTube channel.

RugbyPass TV is a platform where rugby fans can watch live rugby, documentaries, unseen interviews, analysis and more.

The tournament, which sees the UK Armed Forces' very best rugby union players go head-to-head, gets underway this weekend, with Forces News' coverage being broadcast live on its YouTube channel and RugbyPass TV.

There will also be extensive coverage on BFBS Radio.

The chair of the Inter Service Championship committee, Royal Navy Captain Sarah Oakley, said: "We are always grateful for the support of our broadcast partners, and this year we are delighted to be live streamed on both Forces News and RugbyPass TV.

"Forces News is our longest-standing partner, and everyone in the Armed Forces is grateful for the coverage they provide, both on YouTube and directly into military bases here in the UK and overseas.

"Radio is also important, especially for personnel who might not have access to a live video stream, and I would like to thank BFBS Radio for continuing to provide coverage, too.

"It is exciting that RugbyPass TV, which is owned by World Rugby, is also including the Inter Service Championship on its platform, putting our matches alongside some of the best live rugby from across the world along with unique documentaries.

"On behalf of the committee, a massive thank you to everyone who has made this happen."

The Inter Service Championship includes the famous Army v Navy fixtures which take place at the iconic home of English rugby, Twickenham, on 4 May.

The senior British Army women and Royal Navy men are getting ready to defend their respective titles.

The first matches are taking place in Plymouth on Saturday between the RAF and the Navy's two senior sides.

The men's match kicks off at 13:00, while the women will get underway at 16:00. Both matches can be watched live on the Forces News YouTube channel or on RugbyPass TV.

Serving personnel can also watch the matches on catch-up on BFBS TV.
