UKAF rugby stars shine in annual Military v Cancer event in Doncaster
The UK Armed Forces rugby union teams were in good form at the annual Military v Cancer event in Doncaster.
The women impressed against a North East Select XV and tries from Jade Mullen, Orla Proctor and Courtney Pursglove amongst others helped them to a 31-17 win.
The men's team also picked up a victory and scored a variety of tries to take home the trophy against the North of England Select XV by a 42-26 scoreline.

The pick of the tries came from Onisivoro Sukani Nayagi, who displayed excellent footwork to wriggle away from a defender and cross the try line.
Earlier in the day, UKAF's under-23s team were beaten 33-21 by England under-20s.
In a game full of bright moments, UKAF were undone by the best young talent in the country, but well-taken tries from Veremo Waqanidrola and Ben Hurford-John will have pleased UKAF's coaching staff.
UKAF women are next in action on Saturday against England Students at Farnham Rugby Club.
