Injured personnel hail benefits of para snowsports training camp

Watch: Military para athletes take to the slopes at a training camp in Yorkshire.

The Armed Forces Para Snowsports Team (AFPST) have held a two-day training camp at Snozone Yorkshire, one of the UK's leading indoor skiing and snowboarding facilities.

More than 70 personnel, who have a variety of disabilities and injuries, went to the Castleford centre where they were presented with a life-changing opportunity to push themselves to limits they never believed possible.

With extra funding an a dedicated team of volunteer guides and coaches, the opportunity comes as winter sports are set to be included in the Invictus Games for the very first time in 2025.
