Red Arrows cancel display at Royal International Air Tattoo 2023

Bad weather has led to the cancellation of the highly anticipated aerobatic display by the Red Arrows at the Royal International Air Tattoo show at RAF Fairford.
The Red Arrows confirmed on Friday, the first day of the show in Gloucestershire, that they had been forced to cancel their display due to poor weather conditions.
Forecasts of exceptional weather conditions had already meant the cancellation of the RAF Battle of Britain Memorial Flight (BBMF) display this year.
A yellow weather warning has been issued for Saturday, 15 July, but weather conditions are expected to improve on Sunday.
Organisers of the show have said they will be keeping an eye on the weather and put on as many displays as possible, but that the safety of pilots and the public will be its priority.
The much-anticipated Messerschmitt Me 262 aircraft was able to make it to the show venue earlier this week.
