Drone footage appears to show Russian trenches near Chernobyl nuclear plant
Drone footage appears to show trenches dug by Russian troops in the Chernobyl nuclear exclusion zone.
Chernobyl is now back in Ukrainian hands after previously being taken by Russian soldiers in February, soon after Vladimir Putin ordered Russian forces to invade Ukraine.
The International Atomic Energy Agency – a nuclear watchdog – was investigating reports that forces had been impacted by radiation poisoning.
