Ukraine: On the ground in Kyiv with a former Royal Marine Commando

More civilians have been able to flee Ukraine today after Russia agreed to a 12-hour ceasefire, until 19:00 GMT, in six of the worst affected areas.

Included in the ceasefire was Kyiv and the towns surrounding Ukraine's capital.

Emile Ghessen, a film maker and former Royal Marine Commando, is in the capital Kyiv, despite the UK urging British people not to go to Ukraine, and told Forces News "the situation in Kyiv is very tense".

He added people are "waiting, expecting" the Russians to "turn up and continue the bombardment".
