VJ Day: The India Veteran

In the countdown to the 75th anniversary of VJ Day, the official end of World War Two, Forces News has been delving into the archives to rediscover fascinating interviews with veterans who fought in the Far East, men who are often referred to as the "Forgotten Army".

92-year-old Tommy Bunn served in India with the 2nd Battalion Border Regiment, and fought in one of the key battlegrounds in Burma.

He shared his memories of the war in the pacific and VJ Day with us.
