An Insight: The Light Dragoons
Over the centuries the Light Dragoons have switched their fast horses for high-performance armoured vehicles such as Jackals and Coyotes.
Today, their 'light' nature means they are able to deploy anywhere in the world at very short notice.
Their most recent exercise has seen them move their full compliment of over 80 armoured vehicles to Morocco in North Africa, where they have been training on terrain that could be mistaken for Mars.
