Army Doctor Takes Part In Race Across Atlantic
An Army doctor has just completed a race across the Atlantic in one of the world’s fastest yachts.
Tom Smedley, from Catterick-based 5 Armoured Medical Regiment, was part of a team that sailed from the Canary Islands to the Caribbean.
The crew was the second to complete the crossing in just over six days.
