British Army Battalion Puts On Show To Mark Aldershot Relocation

The 1st Battalion, The Scots Guards have put on a show to mark their official relocation to Aldershot. 
 
The unit, which can trace its history back to 1642 when it served as the personal bodyguard of King Charles I, was previously based in Catterick.
 
Senior military personnel and the local mayor were in attendance at the "Beating Retreat" ceremony, which saw music and marching to commemorate the relocation.
