When the plan for a new-look future British Army was announced in 2012, it meant big change for the reserve force. 
 
Being a reservist poses unique challenges. Cpl Michael O'Connor spoke to Forces TV about the sacrifices reservists make. 
"A lot of us don't have any hobbies we don't do anything other than Army family or work"
The recruits are faced with an immense multitasking challenge - trying to juggle their existing jobs, with their newly inflated reserve responsibilities - as well as family life.
