Exercise Snow Lion: Scotland's Winter Sports Competition
Cairn Gorm Mountain in Scotland has played host to Exercise Snow Lion.
It's the 51st Infantry Brigade and Headquarters Scotland's annual ski and snowboard competition.
The end of the exercise gave the snowboarders a chance to brush up on their skills - click below to take a look.
The exercise is designed to breed the next generation of racers, whilst showing that you don't need to travel to the Alps to get involved with winter sports.
It's also a big tool for recruitment and retention, as Forces TV's Ali Gibson found out.
