Former Soldier To Take On 500K Desert Challenge Despite Injury
A former soldier is about to embark on an epic challenge.
Gavin Sandford will run the 250km Marathons des Sables, not once but twice. That means 500km across the Sahara desert.
While filming with Forces TV Gavin tripping and injured his ancle jeopardising his chances.
However he says he is still determined to complete the momentous task.
