HRH Prince William Awards Military Medics Operational Medals

The Duke of Cambridge has visited Keogh barracks in Aldershot to award members of the British Army's 22 Field Hospital with their medals for taking part in Operation Gritrock.

More than 1,500 British military personnel deployed to Sierra Leone to help build treatment centres and train health care workers.

The last eight personnel came back in November as the operation came to its formal end and the country was declared free of the disease.
