A Look Back At The Gurkha 200 Pageant

2015 is a special year for the Brigade of Gurkhas, as it marks 200 years of their service to the Crown.

A number of celebrations have been taking place to mark the occasion, but the main event took place at an open-air pageant in London.

The Queen and other members of the Royal Family joined hundreds of Gurkha soldiers at the Royal Hospital Chelsea in London, for an evening of celebration, including battle re-enactments and musical performances.

There was also a minute's silence to remember the victims of the Nepal earthquakes.
