The Surprising Voice Waking Up US Soldiers In Germany

The late Robin Williams brought American forces radio to public attention in the film 'Good Morning Vietnam', where he entertained US troops as an irreverant DJ.
 
The American Forces Network still broadcasts around the world, including in Germany, where its AFN Wiesbaden station covers an area the size of Wales.
 
But now the listeners there are starting their days with a voice thats anything but American.
 
Forces TV's Rob Olver went to Wiesbaden to meet the morning DJ they call 'Paul the Brit' - a 33-year-old RAF veteran from Swindon.
