WWI Peace Tree Named Northern Ireland's 'Tree Of The Year'

A century-old oak in a Belfast Park has won Northern Ireland's hearts to be voted 'Tree of the Year'.

The 'Peace Tree' was originally created to honour those who failed to return from the First World War.

It's now nearly 100 years old, having been planted on Empire Day in 1919.
