Isabel Joyce - Think Happy

Isabel Joyce: Think Happy

“I was getting really bored and sad that I had to stay in because of the virus so my mum and dad took me out for a walk on camp.

"It was such a beautiful day, and it cheered me up.

"So I took my mum's phone and took pictures of the most beautiful things I could see.

"This reminded me that there are still things to be grateful and happy for.

"Now I look at them to remind me when I’m having a bad day”

Amelia Freeman Deer 2 .png

Amelia Freeman: Deer

"I chose to take a picture of a deer because my family and I go on a 5km walk every other day and we always walk past a deer reserve.

"So when my parents told me about the competition I knew that I wanted to capture images of a deer.

"Although the pandemic has been difficult at times, I am grateful for the opportunity to spend time with my family on these peaceful walks and being able to enjoy the beautiful surroundings we live in."

Esme Casson Loccupations 2 .jpg

Esme Casson: Loccupations

"As a passionate RAF Air Cadet - I adore the outdoors almost as much as cadets itself."

"So as soon as the government extended the guidelines informing us that it was now an option to drive to places - there was my ticket to go to the beach.

"I took this photograph in Dungeness, of a wreckage of an old fisherman's hut, was a very soul-nourishing day, to say the least."

Lottie Bowles

Lottie Bowles: Splashes

"This photo is about the fun we had splashing in puddles."

Millie Bowles A lost idea .JPG

Millie Bowles: A Lost Idea

"This photo is to symbolise ideas with the lightbulb, but it is on driftwood suggesting that it is floating around lost."

Molly Symonds Shed in The Wilderness.jpeg

Molly Symonds: Shed in The Wilderness

"Whilst walking on Salisbury Plain Training Area I saw this rusty old wriggly tin panel on the side of a large shed and took a photo and then edited to enhance the colours contained in the image."

Lillian Holland I do believe in Fairies, I do, I do, I do!.jpeg

Lillian Holland: I do believe in Fairies, I do, I do, I do!

"Mummy and I have built a fairy garden in the wild garden at the back of our house.

"We have a few community buildings, houses and a shop now as well as Fairy HQ Building.

"Here is a photo of some fairies I caught relaxing on top of the Fairy School."

Kesaia Matai The sunset at the end of the journey.jpeg

Kesaia Matai: The Sunset At The End Of The Journey

"It's a sunset in Dale Barracks, Chester.

"It just reminds me that although life as an army child is tough sometimes - moving to new places and making new friends and leaving the old ones behind -  there is always a light at the end of the tunnel, or a sunset, as I show in the picture."

Mia Thresher Pictures of my doggo

Mia Thresher: Pictures Of My Doggo

"It is a picture of one of my dogs.

"He is so comforting when my dad has to go away on training."

Matthew Brown Lazy Lizard on a Tree.jpg

Matthew Brown: Lazy Lizard On A Tree

"During lockdown, I have been taking a lot of photos of lizards while I cycle around the patch.

"There have been a lot of options to choose from when I looked at my camera memory card.

"It is quite hard to take a photo of a lizard because they move so fast.

"It's easier when they are on a plant because they don't move so much, as long as you don't scare them."

Alex Hadley Flaming Chaos

Alex Hadley: Flaming Chaos

"In this piece, I used the medium of fire as a centralised focus point.

"The design of this suggests the organised chaos life can sometimes be, and if you're not careful, can easily engulf you."
