In pictures: Troops commute by train to London for coronation

The majority of Armed Forces personnel participating in the coronation procession travelled to London via train overnight, arriving at Waterloo Station at dawn.

Thousands of sailors, soldiers and aviators marched across Westminster Bridge, with Big Ben on one side and the London Eye on the other, creating a rare sight for early bird onlookers.

The coronation of Their Majesties King Charles III and Queen Camilla will see around 7,000 personnel participate in the largest military ceremonial operation for 70 years.
