'There's no words': British Overseas Territories troops' pride of coronation role

Watch: Representatives of British Overseas Territories regiments speak to Forces News.

Personnel from British Overseas Territories regiments are among the thousands of troops taking part in the King's coronation procession.

The servicemen and women told Forces News about their feelings of pride to be involved in proceedings.

Marine Kylon, from the Turks and Caicos Islands Regiment, said it is "a great experience", whilst Lieutenant Colonel Alvin Ryan, Commanding Officer of the Royal Montserrat Defence Force, said "it is a lot of work".

"They know what the mission is," Lt Col Ryan said. "And it is a very historic occasion, so we are very excited.

"What is very interesting is, on parade, there's more than my entire population."

Lance Corporal Tiffany Ebanks, Cayman Islands Regiment, said there are "no words" to describe how it feels to be taking part.

"I just think, looking back at this, it's one I can tell my kids about and just remember how proud we are to be here."
