Finding Remembrance week hard? There is support for you

remembrance
Edinburgh's Garden of Remembrance.

As the country remembers the fallen – serving personnel, veterans and military families are being encouraged to get support if they need it.

If you have lost loved ones who served their country, you may find this year particularly difficult but there is plenty of help out there for anyone who may be struggling.

The Army Sergeant Major Warrant Officer Class 1 Paul Carney is encouraging people to get together and talk if they are finding it difficult during the Remembrance season.

Organisations like the Royal British Legion, Combat Stress, SSAFA and Help For Heroes also offer mental health support to service personnel and veterans.
