Building Heroes: Veterans Could Fill Construction Skills Shortage
Transitioning out of the forces can be tough - but the construction industry could offer a solution.
The industry is reportedly facing its highest skills shortage for almost a decade.
Now the military charity Building Heroes is offering a five-week course in construction for veterans or for those about to leave the forces.
The charity plans to train more than 1,000 service leavers every year, with courses in West Sussex, Nantwich, and Colchester so far.
