Musical Medicine: Veterans Sing For Recovery

A London charity that uses music to help with mental health issues is working with veterans.

Key Changes in Islington works with service leavers of all ages to create music in its bespoke studio.

It’s received a grant from the Armed Forces Covenant fund for its veterans programme.

The charity also works with veterans’ homeless charity Stoll in regular sessions at Stoll’s headquarters in Fulham.

Suez veteran Nicky Winter wrote his own song at the Key Changes studio, about recovering from alcoholism.
