Nato channels brat summer trend by sharing a post promoting peace on Instagram

"Summer might be over, but the goal for peace remains," Nato has said on social media, in a new approach to promoting peace.
The North Atlantic Treaty Organisation jumped on the Brat summer trend and posted the word "peace" on top of a green background via Instagram, using the BRAT generator.
The post to the alliance's 1.4 million followers also included a green heart emoji in the caption.
The trend has dominated social media over the summer after Charli XCX's hit album Brat was released in June.
Even Kamala Harris, the Democratic Party's presidential nominee, is jumping on the phenomenon and using it as a part of her campaign. It's a craze which symbolises non conformity to the stereotypical ideal of femininity.
The singer was the first UK artist to reach number 1 on the charts this year and although she says brat summer is over, Nato says the search for peace is still on
Nato was founded in 1949 after the Second World War.
It was created to stop the USSR from expanding its influence, deterring the rise of nationalist militarism and to assist with the political integration of Europe.
