Army Rugby Team Prepares For Georgian Tour

A team of 25 players from the Infantry Training Centre in Catterick are preparing to head to Georgia following an invite from the former Head of Staff of the Georgian army.

Major General Kapanadze, who is now the Georgian representative within NATO, visited Catterick ahead of the team’s visit.

He inspected the most recent graduates of the school of infantry and had a chance to meet the rugby players before they head out on their 10 day tour.
