Australia Bids To Host Prince Harry's Stag Do After Invictus Games Visit

Harry Sydney Invictus

He was last in Australia to promote the fourth Invictus Games and now the country are inviting Prince Harry back to Oz to host any 'pre-wedding celebrations'.

Australian Tourism Minister Steven Ciobo confirmed he had written to Clarence House following the Prince's engagement to actress Meghan Markle.

In his letter Mr Ciobo helpfully drew up a potential itinerary for the couple to showcase what the country has to offer:

"For Prince Harry’s pre-wedding celebrations, Tourism Australia has recommend some of Australia’s best adventure experiences on Queensland’s Gold Coast and through the wilds of Northern Territory and Western Australia.

And for the perfect honeymoon, Tourism Australia has recommended Australia’s luxury lodges including Tasmania’s Saffire Freycinet, Longitude 131 in the Northern Territory where the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have previously stayed, Southern Ocean Lodge on Kangaroo Island, just off the coast of South Australia and Queensland’s Lizard Island, uniquely located on the Great Barrier Reef."

Australia aren’t the only ones to make a play to be part of the Royal Wedding.

UK Grime artist Stormzy, who met the Prince earlier this year at the WellChild Awards, said he would be more than happy to provide an acoustic set for the big day.

Regardless of where Harry decides to spend his wedding celebrations he will definitely be heading to Australia next October to cheer on the competitors of the fourth Invictus Games.
