Awards Ceremony To Celebrate Veterans' Transition To Civvy Life
An awards ceremony that celebrates the achievements of personnel who left the Armed Forces to transition into civilian life is to take place next month.
The third annual BSI Resettlement Awards will be presented to the winners at a black tie dinner at the Lowry Hotel (see above) in Manchester on October 31.
Recipients of the awards, which also acknowledge organisations that offer support to service leavers, will be decided by a panel of judges - a number of whom made the transition to civvy street themselves.
Take a look below at the highlights from last year's ceremony...
Chris Wright, Commercial Training Director at BSI said: "We're delighted to be sponsoring the 2017 Resettlement Awards, recognising the excellence and achievement of everyone involved."
You can take a look at the full list of award categories below. Click here, meanwhile, to find out how to submit an entry if you'd like to be considered for an award (deadline Friday September 15th at 5pm).
All entrants who are shortlisted for a resettlement award will be invited as guests, while prices for anybody else range from £84 per head to £750 for a table of 10.
