Afghan officials say at least 15 cadets have been killed in a suicide attack outside the main military academy in the capital Kabul, four others are said to have been wounded.
It is the second suicide attack in the city in under 24 hours.
The Afghan Defence Ministry says the suicide bomber, who was on foot, targeted a bus carrying the Afghan army trainees as they left the Marshall Fahim Academy.
The military academy is the Afghan version of Sandhurst and senior British officers are known to be teaching cadets there.
On Friday evening, 56 people were killed when a suicide bomber set off explosives at a packed Shia mosque on Friday evening. The Islamic State group said it was behind that attack.

Earlier today two rockets exploded in Kabul's fortified government zone, though there were no reports of casualties.
