Carrier Crew Spoofs Star Wars Trailer

The US Navy has been putting its own spin on the upcoming Star Wars: Force Awakens film.

Crew aboard the USS Dwight D. Eisenhower created their own rendition of the Hollywood Blockbuster, calling it 'Sea Wars: The Ike Awakens' (Ike being a nickname for the nuclear powered aircraft-carrier).

The clip starts with a voice asking "There has been an awakening, have you felt it?" Then a sailor on appears startled on-screen mirroring shot-for-shot the original trailer.

With a yellow mop bucket standing in for droids, special effects and endeavour make up for the lack of budget.

Mass Communication Specialist 3rd Class Alex Delgado, a sailor on the ship, created the trailer, according to the Washington Post.
