Carrier Strike Group: Watch HMS Richmond Arrive In Japan
HMS Richmond has arrived at US Fleet Activities Sasebo, Japan.
The frigate arrived in Sasebo, a city located on Japan’s Kyushu Island, on 7 August and will now conduct routine maintenance that cannot be done with the ship at sea.
It is the first of several planned port visits in Japan by those on the Carrier Strike Group 21 (CSG 21) deployment.
