Dame Vera Lynn To Become Oldest Person To Release New Album... Again

Dame Vera Lynn is celebrating turning 100 by breaking her own record and again becoming the oldest person to release a new album.
The singer, known as "the forces' sweetheart" for entertaining troops during World War Two, last put an album out at the age of 97 in 2014.
The album, called Vera Lynn 100, is released on March 17, three days before her birthday.
It will feature other top British singers Alfie Boe, Alexander Armstrong and Aled Jones.
Stage star Alfie will feature on We'll Meet Again, 'Pointless' host Alexander Armstrong on White Cliffs of Dover and presenter Aled Jones on As Time Goes By.
Some of Dame Vera's best-known songs have been re-orchestrated for the album with her original vocals.
Auf Wiederseh'n Sweetheart, which saw her become the first British singer to reach the top of the US Official Charts in 1952, also appears on the record. The singer said:
"It's truly humbling that people still enjoy these songs from so many years ago, reliving the emotions of that time - I was after all just doing my job as a singer - and it's so wonderful for me to hear my songs again so beautifully presented in a completely new way."
As well as the album, Dame Vera will celebrate her birthday with a charity concert at the London Palladium.
