Drone motherships? How old Afghanistan vehicles could be reused

A research and development firm is working to bring military vehicles from past conflicts back to life by turning them into motherships for unmanned aerial vehicles.

Intrepid Minds has visited the Defence BattleLab in Dorset to test out its idea.

It's hoped the vehicles will bring drones safely to the areas where they are needed and also offer a charging capability.

Still partly under construction, the Army BattleLab welcomes companies from any sector to connect and test out concepts in an effort to solve the military's biggest problems.
