Gurkha Recruits Assigned To New Regiments On Cap Badging Day

More than 300 Gurkha recruits have been assigned to their new regiments on the annual Cap Badging day at Catterick Garrison.

During the ceremony, 340 trainees found out where and who they will work with, mapping out their careers for the next 10 to 15 years.

There are six regiments for the Gurkhas to be assigned to, with about 80% of the recruits receiving their first choice.
