Help for Heroes launches suicide awareness training to help save lives

Help for Heroes has launched an online training course, teaching how to spot someone who may be struggling with their mental health.

It takes 30 minutes and will give those who take part the skills to recognise the indicators of suicidal behaviours, how to have that difficult conversation should the need arise and know where to signpost for help and support.

Veteran Rob Shenton is a suicide survivor, and he believes the training will save lives and create safe spaces for people to discuss their mental wellbeing.

If you or someone you know needs support at this time, find help available on our website.
