Heritage Heroes: Saving Britain's Waterways

The profile of mental health in the military is arguably at an all-time high, thanks to the intervention of people like Prince Harry and campaigns like the ongoing Mental Health Awareness Week. 

One scheme offering wounded former and current service personnel the opportunity to gain new skills and qualifications is Heritage Heroes.

It's helping people through giving them the chance to work on restoring Britain's best-loved waterways. 

The scheme brings together the Canal & River Trust with the Help for Heroes charity.
