Huge Crowds As Liverpool Hosts Armed Forces Day
The Red Arrows and HMS Iron Duke were among the highlights of this year's Armed Forces Day hosted by the city Liverpool.
Sixty thousand people thronged the site between the River Mersey and the Royal Liver Building to see parades, static displays, and a an air show including the Red Arrows and Battle of Britain era aircraft.

The Lord Mayor of Liverpool and the Earl of Wessex took the salute as the parade passed, while the Prime Minister, Theresa May, and Defence Secretary, Michael Fallon, represented the government.
