Illegal Immigrants Smuggle Themselves Into High Security RAF Base

RAF WADDINGTON

Three illegal immigrants who stowed away in a coach got a big surprise when they found they had ended up in one of the UK’s highest security bases.

The men, aged between 22 and 27 and said to be from Sudan, were discovered on Sunday at RAF Waddington in Lincolnshire and were quickly detained.

It’s thought the trio smuggled themselves into the country in an RAF vehicle that was being used as part of a training exercise in France.

In order to remain out of sight over the 240-mile long journey, the men hid in the luggage area of the coach.

A joint statement by the RAF and Lincolnshire Police said:

“On October 29, three civilian foreign nations were detained at RAF Waddington and handed to Lincolnshire Police.

“These individuals are believed to have arrived on a coach returning RAF personnel from force development activity in France.”

A spokesman for Lincolnshire Police confirmed they had been detained and handed over to the Home Office immigration officials.

RAF Waddington is home to both intelligence officers and Britain’s Reaper drones.

The RAF station is where pilots remotely fly Reaper drones on missions in countries such as Afghanistan and Syria.

The aircraft are controlled via satellite link from cockpit cabins installed in hangars.

Recently, pilots at RAF Waddington stopped an ISIS public execution a whopping 2,000 miles away with one shot from a Hellfire Missile.

The single missile was shortly followed by a Reaper drone hitting a sniper on a nearby roof.
