Internet Reacts After Russian Jet's Near Miss With US Plane
After a Russian jet flew less than two metres from an American EP-3 aircraft over the Black Sea, social media users have kicked off a fierce debate.
The Su-27 Russian warplane was just 1.5m away from the American aircraft, with it not the first such incident that has been recorded between Russian and NATO aircraft.
The Russian defence ministry has said that its actions were in accordance with international airspace rules and stated that it was attempting to prevent an airspace violation.
This has sparked a fierce debate on social media, with many people sharing their opinions on whether or not the Russian plane should have been there.
