Magical Military Star Returns To Britain's Got Talent
Lance Corporal Richard Jones, the winner of last year's Britain's Got Talent, returned to Thursday nights competition to show the current semi-finalists how it's done.
Although the actual magic trick wasn't military themed, the Lance Corporal was in uniform and accompanied by a military band.
The British Magician joined the Army in 2010 and studied for a year at the Royal Military School of Music.
He then spent three years with the band of Parachute Regiment before being posted to the band of the Household Cavalry as a mounted dutyman.
His guest appearance on the talent show saw Richard Jones asking Alesha to guess a number (333) and then asked David to throw a sponge brick into the audience (the brick was caught by Marion from Bracknell).
A box was then raised above his head which was full of cards filled out by all the audience members with their names, where they live and a number.
Then using his Household Cavalry sword the magician managed to strike a card, as they fell from the raised box.
And guess which card Richard's magic sword managed to impale...
It was Marion's from Bracknell, card number 333. Amazing!
