First Royal Navy Member to Receive Victoria Cross During WW1 Honoured

The first member of the Royal Navy to receive the Victoria Cross for bravery during the First World War has been honoured in Edinburgh. 
 
Commander Henry Peel Ritchie was given the highest award for gallantry for his role in naval operations off the coast of East Africa.
