New Invictus Games Motor Racing Team Launched

A specially-selected team of racing drivers featuring wounded, injured and sick veterans of the British armed forces will compete in the upcoming British GT Championship, as part of a new Invictus Games motor sport team.

The drivers, Ben Norfolk, Basil Rawlinson, Steve McCulley and Paul Vice will be partnered and mentored by two professional drivers in the British GT Championships.

Invictus Games Racing Jaguar car

A pair of Jaguar F-TYPE SVR road cars have been modified to compete at GT4 Championship level. Each vehicle is capable of a top speed of 200 mph. 

Invictus Games Racing drivers

The Invictus Games Racing project has been funded by James Holder, co-founder of the clothing brand Superdry, and is a collaboration with the Invictus Games Foundation and Jaguar.

The team has already started training ahead of the British GT season which starts on 31 March 2018 at the Oulton Park Circuit in Cheshire.
